When and where is the convention?

 How do I get to the venue?

 Is there parking available?

  • Yes, there is paid parking available, approximately $40/day
     

  • Participants arriving by car for the convention may park at Mar Thoma Sleeha Cathedral, 5000 St. Charles Road, Bellwood, IL 60104 and can use the free shuttle service to and from the venue. The Shuttle is only available on Thursday (10 am) and Sunday after the event.

Is the venue accessible for people with disabilities?

  • Yes

What are the different Registration Options?

RESERVED ROOMS

​

  • Option #1: Room with 1 King Size Bed (Maximum occupancy 3 Adults + 2 Minors)

    • Family of 2 included - $1,950.00 (Additional Options below)

    • Minor children (0-5 Years): FREE with Parents/Legal Guardians in the same room
      • Minor children (6-17 Years): $250 with Parents/Legal Guardians in the same room

      • Adult Children (18-24 Years): $500 with Parents/Legal Guardians in the same room

 

  • Option #2: Room with 2 Queen Size Beds (Maximum occupancy 4 Adults + 1 Minor)

    • Family of 4 included (Adults/Minors) - $3,000.00 (Additional Options below)

    • Minor children (0-5 Years): FREE with Parents/Legal Guardians in the same room

    • Minor children (6-17 Years): $250 with Parents/Legal Guardians in the same room

SHARED ROOMS

(Maximum capacity 4): Only individuals who are 18 years of age or above can use shared rooms.

  • Shared Bed Option: $750 for a shared bed in the shared room

  • Individual Bed Option: $1,500 for solo queen bed in the shared room

What Payment Methods do you Accept?

  • Credit Card with ~3% fee

  • ACH Payment via DonorNet

  • For other types of payment methods, please contact: help@syroconvention.org

Is there a Discount for Early Registration?

  • Yes, for anyone who registers and pays in full before December 31st, 2025, the credit card processing fees are not charged.

Can I Register at the Venue?

  • No, because we only have limited hotel rooms available to allocate

  • Organizers need to know the head-counts, to make necessary arrangements for daily meals 

What is your Cancellation Policy?

  • Due to limited rooms for our use, cancellation is not allowed unless you buy payment protection when making payments with your credit card 

Can I Choose Hotels/Rooms?

  • You can choose the room types (King or Queen) but rooms are allocated by the respective committee, based on first-come, first-serve basis

What Time does Check-In Start?

  • Registration/Accommodation team will be available starting at 11:00 am on July 9th at the McCormick Place to assist in the check-in process

  • Rooms will only be available by 3:00 pm, but the hotel will let us know if the rooms are available sooner

  • The hotel will provide us with space to store your personal belongings securely

What does the Registration Prices Include?

  • Includes the following:

    • Room (based on selected choice, prices vary)​

    • Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)

    • Admission to Banquet Dinner on Saturday, July 11th

Can I sign up for Specific Sessions or Workshops?

  • Yes, there will be more information available soon
